About the Role

A leading Automobile Dealership Company is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial management, planning, and governance for an automobile dealership operations. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record in financial leadership, dealership operations, cost control, and business profitability.

CTC: 50-60 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

– Drive financial strategy aligned with business objectives and dealership growth plans.

– Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and financial modelling.

– Monitor financial KPIs, variances, and identify opportunities for margin improvement.

Financial Management & Control:

– Oversee accounting, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.

– Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, GST, and regulatory norms.

– Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund flow for smooth dealership operations.

Dealership & OEM Coordination:

– Work closely with OEM teams on financial submissions, audits, incentive claims, and MIS.

– Review dealership profitability across new cars, used cars, service, spares, and accessories.

Cost Management & Operational Efficiency:

– Drive cost optimization across departments including sales, service, HR, and admin.

– Evaluate and approve capex, vendor contracts, and procurement spends.

– Monitor inventory levels, ageing, stock audits, and warehouse controls.

Team Leadership:

– Lead and mentor the finance, accounts, and audit teams.

– Build high-performance culture ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Risk Management & Governance:

– Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

– Strengthen internal controls, dealership SOPs, and process governance.

– Oversee insurance, claims, legal coordination, and financial due diligence.

Key Skills & Competencies:

– Strong understanding of auto dealership operations and OEM financial processes.

– Expertise in accounting standards, taxation, MIS, and compliance.

– Strong analytical ability and business acumen.

– Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

– Proficiency with dealership DMS, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.

Preferred Background:

– Experience working with or for a Auto dealership is highly preferred.

– Prior experience in automobile retail, mobility services, or multi-branch operations.
