Role Overview
Looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional to lead its Partner (Ambulance) Affiliations and Operations vertical. This role will be responsible for building a robust, tech-enabled, pan-India ambulance partner network to serve diverse medical transport needs — from emergency response to intra- and inter-city patient transfers, scheduled surgeries, and even hearsay services.
This is a strategic and operational leadership position critical to company’s mission of redefining India’s emergency response infrastructure. The person will design the affiliate model, lead partner onboarding, manage quality assurance, and build a high-performing national team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ambulance Partner Network Development
- Identify and empanel local and regional ambulance service providers for:
- Emergency ambulance services
- Scheduled transfers for surgeries and planned interventions
- Intra-city and inter-city patient transport
- Hearse services using ambulance fleets
- Design and implement pricing and revenue-sharing models aligned with company’s business goals.
- Audit ambulance vehicles and conduct due diligence before onboarding partners to ensure quality and compliance.
- Quality & Service Assurance
- Define, monitor, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs)related to response time, vehicle condition, hygiene, equipment, and trained personnel.
- Conduct regular quality audits and spot checks across cities.
- Manage escalations and apply penalties for service failures in coordination with affiliate partners.
- Hospital Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain hospital partnerships to generate demand for ambulance services outside company’s direct platform users.
- Strengthen referral linkages at a local level through hospital administrators, nursing homes, and diagnostic centers.
- Strategic Leadership & Tech Evangelization
- Build and execute a pan-India aggregation strategy, including:
- Revenue and pricing models
- Quality benchmarks and audit frameworks
- Partner onboarding and long-term engagement programs
- Promote adoption of company’s ambulance tech stack (Driver, Dispatcher, and Admin apps) across all partner fleets.
- Collaborate with Tech, Product, and Operations teams to refine platform features and ensure smooth integration into daily workflows.
- Deployment Oversight
- Oversee deployment and service quality of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)and Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances at corporate client sites, in line with agreements closed by the sales team.
Team Structure & Leadership Scope
As the national lead for this function, you will be responsible for building and managing a distributed team to drive ambulance partner onboarding, quality control, and service assurance. Your team will include:
- City Executives: Responsible for local-level onboarding, hospital relationship building, audits, and day-to-day issue resolution.
- Regional Affiliate Managers: Lead clusters of 3–6 cities each; ensure SLAs, drive partner engagement, and manage escalations.
- Quality & Compliance Coordinators: Central team defining audit protocols, overseeing vehicle standards, and tracking partner performance data.
- Tech Adoption Specialists(optional/rotational): Support ambulance operators in app usage, training, and troubleshooting during the onboarding phase.
You will be responsible for defining the team’s KRAs, performance monitoring systems, and incentive frameworks. Support from the central HR and Ops teams will be available for hiring and training.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for professionals with 5+ years of experience in:
- Fleet operations, logistics, or medical transport aggregation.
- Working with ambulance aggregators or emergency medical response services.
- Worked with aggregated service delivery brands like Uber, Ola, Oyo, Treebo etc.
- Managing ground operations or vendor networks in experiential marketing, BTL agencies, or hyperlocal logistics startups.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong operational execution capability with experience managing multi-city networks.
- Ability to design and implement scalable revenue and partnership models.
- Hands-on knowledge of fleet management and logistics tech platforms.
- Skilled in contract negotiation, partner management, and SLA enforcement.
- Team leadership experience with ability to manage remotely distributed teams.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and on-ground engagement across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
